Implementing National Tourism Promotion Program 2013, from 6 to 10 March 2013, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will participate in International Tourism Fair ITB 2013 organized at ITB International Exhibition Center (Berlin - Federal Republic of Germany).

As one of the most prestigious and largest international tourism fair, ITB 2013 is an opportunity for the tourism businesses to meet and exchange experiences and also for tourists to find out and choose their own destinations.
 
ITB Fair 2013 will have the participations of travel agencies, companies offering online ticket booking services, airlines, hotel groups, transportation companies…The fair includes main activities such as exhibitions, tourism seminars, meetings between businesses and international partners, press conferences, presentations on products, customer meetings.
 
In 2012, the ITB fair attracted the participations of 187 countries and territories with 10,644 booths displayed at 26 great halls of ITB International Exhibition Center. Viet Nam tourism industry had 65 booths, of which 22 ones were held by VNAT. At the fair this year, VNAT will establish a joint booth with the area of ​​142m². More than 20 large tourism businesses nationwide are expected to take part in the joint booth. VNAT will create favorable conditions for businesses to have the best booths at the fair. It will contribute to introducing and promoting Viet Nam tourism in the international market.
 
In recent years, VNAT and localities in the country as well as tourism businesses have focused on promoting Viet Nam tourism in the international market, especially German market so the numbers of international tourists to Viet Nam have increased significantly. In 2012, the numbers of international tourists to Viet Nam reached 6,847,678 arrivals, up 13.86% over 2011; of which German tourists reached 106,608 arrivals, up 9.36% over 2011.
